Lives Touched With the Gospel...

Benny Prasad arrived at NJIT to an already buzzing campus. Some came into the room before the event and asked "will he really be here?" Yes, we said. The Atrium was filled to capacity as Benny shared his Christian story and fabulous music with many students at NJIT. We stopped counting at 180 people in the room. Our attendance was predominantly Indian (International) graduate students. About 20 of those students asked to be a part of a bible study in the next few weeks. We are thankful to the Lord for this successful event, but we are even more excited about meeting new friends with whom we can share about Jesus with.

We thank God for:
1. All who attended.
2. Amazing NJIT administration who partnered with InterVarsity.
3. Our faculty advisor that made sure we had good Indian food at the event.
4. All those that decided to be a part of a bible study post-event.
5. Our partnership with Sanskar, the largest Indian organization at NJIT.
6. The stretching of our faith as God answered prayers of students and IVCF-Newark partners.

Benny takes a picture with some IVCF students who were able to stay after the event. (I got to touch the guitar.)

Sanskar perform cultural Indian dances from 7 different Indian states.

A picture of half of the atrium during the event. The other side was packed too. Praise the Lord!
