Pastor Jim Benton joined us at Rutgers Weekly worship gathering to encourage students to love the poor because God loves the poor. He shared not only his experiences overseas through Compassion International, but also challenged us through the Word to get involved to make a difference in this world. After the meeting, we saw more students committing to be a part of the 30 hour famine. Please continue to pray for InterVarsity on the Newark, NJ campuses.
